Do you want to see the river crossings? This tour puts you in the northern Serengeti near the Mara River for two full days, then moves to the central Serengeti and the crater. You'll also cover Tarangire and Lake Manyara. Travel between July and September for the best odds.

Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro
Transfer to Arusha.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
A game drive among elephants and baobabs.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Look for flamingos, pelicans and tree-climbing lions.
Day 4: To the northern Serengeti
The drive passes the Ngorongoro viewpoint on the way.
Day 5: Northern Serengeti
A full day of game drives around the Mara River.
Day 6: Northern Serengeti
A second full day to watch the herds and the river crossings.
Day 7: Central Serengeti
Transfer to Seronera with a game drive.
Day 8: Central Serengeti
A full day of game drives.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend for a full day on the crater floor.
Day 10: Departure
Drive to Arusha, with an optional stop at Mto wa Mbu village, then transfer to the airport.
