Who we are

Kazinga Tours organises unforgettable safaris across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania. We are true specialists in these destinations, with our headquarters in Kampala and a support office in the Netherlands for our European travellers.

Our story

With almost 20 years of experience, Kazinga Tours has become one of Uganda’s most successful and trusted travel companies. Kazinga Tours was founded in 2006 by Felex Musinguzi from Uganda and Vincent van ’t Hof from the Netherlands. From the start, our goal has been to go beyond the average travel agent: creating tailor-made journeys that match our clients’ interests, budgets, and timeframes, while respecting local traditions, supporting communities, and protecting Africa’s wildlife. And so it happened.. Kazinga Tours has grown into one of East Africa’s leading and respected safari companies. We organized more than 2500 successful trips with an average guest rating of 9.8 on TripAdvisor.

The strength of Kazinga Tours lies in the unique combination of two worlds: Felex from Uganda and Vincent from the Netherlands. Felex, a tourism professional who grew up near Lake Bunyonyi, turned his passion for his country and commitment to empowering local communities into a successful career in the travel industry. Vincent, an experienced wildlife photographer with an extensive background in business management and hospitality, fell in love with Africa’s landscapes and wildlife. Together, we offer something different: a truly unique, personal and authentic African travel experience, that blends local knowledge with a photographer’s eye for beauty. Along with our dedicated local team, we are there to make it happen.

Award-Winning Travel with Local Impact

We are proud winners of the Ekkula Tourism Award for Best Tour Company in Uganda – a recognition of our dedication to meaningful, responsible travel.

With every journey, you support local communities and reforestation & wildlife protection. For each traveller, we make a donation to the following two projects: Through Twende Community project we support the Kabaya Primary School. Our support includes providing school lunches, a library, and learning materials.

Through the Chris Roberts Forest Foundation , we contribute to reforestation and sustainable farming near Kibale Forest.

Both projects can be visited during a trip to Uganda
