Lion Tracking – Up Close with the Kings of the Savannah
In Queen Elizabeth National Park, researchers from the Uganda Carnivore Program offer visitors a rare chance to join them in tracking lions fitted with radio collars. This unique activity allows you to learn about lion behaviour, conservation, and ecology while getting a close-up view of these magnificent predators, as it is allowed to drive off-road during this activity. Apart from Lions, there are also 2 leopards with radio collars which can be seen.
