Kidepo Valley National Park

Kidepo Valley National Park is located in the northeastern corner of Uganda. Far away from everything, but a fantastic place to go to.

Kidepo is a semi-desert area which hosts over 77 mammal species including lion, cheetah, leopard, bat-eared fox, giraffe, elephant, buffalo as well as almost 500 bird species.

The Park comprises of 1445 square kilometres of savannah area.

The most important sources of water are the Kidepo river and the Narus river.
